The STIHL AP System supports you in your daily tasks garden, landscape and tree care. The appropriate AP lithium-ion batteries help you to use STIHL battery tools even for demanding work. Four LED lights keep you always informed about the charge status of the battery. Thanks to the new Power Laminate Technology, the STIHL AP 500 S battery offers you twice the number of possible charging cycles compared to previous STIHL batteries. The power output has also been increased again compared to the AP 300 S from STIHL. In addition, the STIHL AP 500 S battery can be integrated into the fleet management system STIHL connected. This means you always have transparency about the actual operating time.

STIHL AP batteries with a nonimal voltage of 36 V can be recharged with all STIHL AL battery chargers. Regular maintenance, correct charging of the lithium-ion battery and the appropriate environment for storing the battery all help to ensure a long service life.

STIHL AP batteries are available with the following energy capacities:

• AP 200 S with 187 Wh battery power, 1.3 kg weight
• AP 300 S with 281 Wh battery power, 1.8 kg weight
• AP 500 S with 337 Wh battery power, 2.0 kg weight

Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.

SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. IPX4 certifies protection against splashwater from all sides. Battery-powered tools with this certification are therefore designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.
