The STIHL .404" RCX Rapid Chipper special chain is suitable for professionals to use on large longitudinal cutting machines or for freehand longitudinal cuts. It enables you to efficiently cut along the grain of the wood fibre. The RCX chain links have been specially developed for longitudinal cuts. The Rapid Chipper saw chain offers a good cutting surface thanks to its slightly domed depth gauge and its tooth geometry.
The STIHL .404" RCX Rapid Chipper saw chain is low-vibration and offers high cutting quality. This allows you to not only easily and cleanly cut boards and planks from tree trunks, but also to precisely and safely guide the chainsaw. The robustness and resilience of the saw chain ensure that you can also carry out clean and effective cuts with soft cutting characteristics.
The STIHL .404" RCX Rapid Chipper chain with a drive link thickness of 1.6 mm has a low chattering tendency, so that you can better guide your chainsaw and therefore work more comfortably. Sharpening the saw chain is easy. You can use the STIHL sharpening set, for example.
