Safety Glasses

Safety glasses are a fundamental piece of personal protective equipment (PPE) on any building, construction or trade site. Protecting eyes from flying debris, dust, grinding sparks, splashes and UV exposure, safety glasses are mandatory in most site environments and should be worn whenever using power tools, angle grinders, saws, drills or hammers. Choosing the right safety glasses
Safety glasses are available in clear, tinted and anti-fog lens options. Clear lenses are suited to indoor and low-light work, while tinted lenses reduce glare for outdoor site use. Anti-fog coatings are particularly useful in warm or humid environments where fogging can impair visibility. Wraparound frames provide better peripheral protection against side impacts and debris. Look for glasses certified to AS/NZS 1337 — the Australian and New Zealand standard for eye protection in occupational settings. Bifocal safety glasses are also available for tradies who need reading correction combined with eye protection.
