Concrete screeds are used to level and strike off fresh concrete to the correct height and plane across slabs, floors and other horizontal poured surfaces. A well-screeded slab provides the correct surface level for further finishing operations including floating and trowelling, and is essential for achieving a flat, even final surface. Types of concrete screeds

Roller screeds use a rotating tube to strike off and consolidate concrete in a single pass, producing a consistent surface with less operator effort. Laser screeds are machine-mounted systems that use laser guidance to automatically strike off concrete to a precise level, suited to large commercial and industrial floors. Screeds with vial levels include a built-in spirit level for accurate slope and level setting on smaller pours.
