Concrete Laser Screed

Concrete laser screeds are machine-mounted concrete levelling systems that use a laser receiver and automated grade control to strike off and consolidate fresh concrete to a precise, consistent level. Laser screeds dramatically reduce labour requirements and finishing time on large commercial, industrial and infrastructure floor slabs, delivering flatness and levelness tolerances that are extremely difficult to achieve with manual screeding methods. How concrete laser screeds work
A laser screed consists of a self-propelled or ride-on machine with an extendable screed head that is guided by a rotating laser transmitter set up on the job site. The laser receiver on the screed head continuously measures its height relative to the laser plane and automatically adjusts the screed blade up or down to maintain the set grade — achieving levelness accuracy within approximately 1–3mm across large floor areas. The machine consolidates and levels concrete in a single pass, and the operator controls the machine via a remote or on-board controls. Laser screeds are suited to large slab pours including warehouse floors, commercial slabs, industrial facilities, airports and large residential developments where floor flatness (FF) and floor levelness (FL) tolerances are specified.
