Concrete vibrator extensions are additional flexible shaft sections that increase the working depth of your existing concrete vibrator setup, allowing the poker to reach further into deep pours without requiring a full 9-metre vibrator set. Extensions are connected between the drive unit and the existing shaft, adding length incrementally to suit the pour depth. Choosing the right concrete vibrator extension
Extensions are available in various lengths — typically 1.5m, 2m and 3m — and must be compatible with your vibrator's shaft coupling type and diameter. Confirm the coupling connection type (threaded or quick-release) and shaft diameter before purchasing to ensure compatibility with your existing drive unit and poker. Adding extensions increases the total shaft length and may slightly reduce vibration efficiency at the poker head; this is generally acceptable for most applications but should be considered for very deep or high-specification pours. Multiple extensions can be used in combination where the pour depth requires it, provided the drive unit is rated for the extended configuration.
