BIO iMOW® fixing nails: A firm grip. Biodegradable raw material.

STIHL ARB 151 boundary wire in the lawn along the edge of the designated work area of your STIHL iMOW® robotic mower using STIHL iMOW® BIO fixing nails. The fixing nails are made of 100% biodegradable raw material and are barely visible after being driven into the lawn. The Bio fixing nails are just as sturdy and robust as conventional fixing nails. However, they decompose completely after several years in the ground without leaving any residue. By this time, the boundary wire will be firmly consolidated, and so the fixation nails will no longer be needed for additional support. To make it easier to drive in the fixing nails, it helps if you first water the mowing area a little if the ground is too hard or dry. Securing the fixing nails is one of the first relevant steps in your STIHL iMOW® robotic mower installation.
