The HLA 140 uses a rigid, fixed-length shaft (245cm) for maximum stability and precise control — ideal for operators who prefer a consistent working position and confident, controlled cutting. The STIHL HLA 150 features an adjustable telescopic shaft ranging from 207cm to 332cm, offering approximately 90cm more maximum reach — better suited to high or variable-height hedges where extra extension is needed.
