A bull float is a large, flat finishing tool used to smooth and level fresh concrete immediately after screeding. Mounted on a long handle, bull floats allow concreters to cover large slab areas quickly — flattening ridges, filling voids and bringing the cream to the surface without the operator needing to walk on the fresh concrete.
