What is a concrete hand float used for?
A hand float is used to bring the cream to the surface of freshly poured concrete, closing surface voids and creating a smooth, even finish. Hand floats are typically used before trowelling for a finer finish, or left as the final step for a textured, slip-resistant surface. Available in magnesium, aluminium and resin materials to suit different concrete mixes and finishing requirements.
