Manufacturers of ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware are constantly working to increase frost resistance, abrasion resistance, and increase thickness. Porcelain stoneware tiles with a thickness of 20 mm and above are becoming increasingly popular. Such changes lead to a decrease in machinability and ordinary diamond discs do not always cope with the task.
The HARD CERAMICS ADVANCED diamond disc is specially designed for cutting thick and durable porcelain stoneware. The diamond-bearing layer of the disc includes graphite chips that create a microporous structure and act as a solid lubricant. The diamond-bearing layer is susceptible to laser segmentation, which reduces the effect of thermal loads on the disc.
All this ensures the possibility of effective cutting of thick and durable porcelain stoneware tiles.
The discs are available in diameters of 180 - 400 mm, with a seating space of 25.4 mm. They are used on water-cooled tile cutting machines.
