STIHL Chains

STIHL chainsaw chains are genuine OEM replacement chains for STIHL chainsaws, available in a comprehensive range of pitches, gauges, drive link counts and loop lengths to suit STIHL chainsaw models from small pruning saws to large professional timber-cutting saws. At BetonTools (STIHL Shop Gladesville), we stock the full STIHL chain range including Picco, Rapid Micro, Rapid Super, Rapid Duro carbide and Rapid Hexa chains in loop and roll formats.

STIHL chain types
Picco chains (Picco Micro, Picco Super, Picco Duro) are narrow-kerf, low-kickback chains designed for lightweight and compact STIHL chainsaws used in pruning, arboriculture and light-duty cutting. Available in 3/8"P and 1/4" pitch. Rapid Micro chains are semi-chisel chains suited to professional and homeowner saws working in dirty or sandy conditions where a semi-chisel profile stays sharp longer than full chisel. Rapid Super chains are full chisel chains designed for fast, clean cutting in hardwood and softwood — the professional choice for timber work and arboriculture. Rapid Duro carbide chains feature tungsten carbide-tipped cutters for extreme durability in abrasive materials including dirty timber, nail-embedded wood and concrete-contaminated timber. Rapid Hexa chains are full chisel upgrade kits with a hexagonal cutter geometry for improved cutting speed and reduced vibration. Available in pitches of 1/4", 3/8"P, .325" and 3/8", gauges of .043", .050" and .063", and loop lengths from 30cm/12" to 91cm/36", as well as 25-foot rolls for workshop use.
