Supplied Cutting Attachment

This listing includes the STIHL WoodCut 250-26 circular saw blade. A brush knife, shredder blade or mowing head is not an additional included cutting attachment. Use circular saw blades only with the matching approved STIHL saw-blade guard or stop and complete mounting setup specified in the instruction manual.

Optional Brush Knife

The STIHL BrushCut 350-3, 350mm, 20mm bore (4110 713 4100) is a separately sold option for tough grass and scrub on the FS 561 C-EM. Converting from the supplied circular saw blade requires the approved STIHL universal guard and the correct mounting components and harness combination. Do not use the saw-blade guard or stop as a substitute for the required brush-knife guard.

Fitting and Safety

Match every cutting tool to the complete approved combination in the exact machine's instruction manual. Similar blade names, diameter or bore alone do not establish compatibility. Fitting kit 4001 007 4400 is not confirmed for this clearing saw and is not recommended here as a universal conversion kit. Contact Betontools to identify the exact guard and mounting parts before changing the cutting configuration.

STIHL has issued a recall affecting a limited number of FS 561 C-EM machines because the gear head may break when used with a shredder blade. Have your machine's recall status checked by an authorised STIHL dealer before considering a shredder setup. Do not fit a shredder blade until the machine and complete approved configuration have been checked.

Stop the engine before changing attachments. Use the specified harness, maintain two-handed control and wear the required protective equipment. Follow the instruction manual's operating and maintenance precautions.
