The STIHL FSA 120 Bike Handle Battery Brushcutter Skin (FA08 200 0055) is designed for mowing larger grassed areas at home or on the job. Its ergonomic bike handle supports a comfortable sweeping motion, while the variable-speed EC motor lets you match cutting speed to the conditions.

Battery Options

• STIHL AP 300 S 36V 281Wh battery (4850 400 6575): recommended legacy AP option, available only while remaining stock lasts.
• STIHL ALLPRO AP 300.0 P battery (EA13 400 6523): newer ALLPRO battery option.

Both are sold separately. Legacy AP and newer ALLPRO batteries retain their own model names; do not transfer runtime figures between models. A battery and compatible charger are required to operate this skin-only machine. AP 200 and AP 300 S are remaining-stock lines and will not be available once sold out. AP 500 S is no longer sold by Betontools; compatibility information for that model is for existing owners only.

Optional Grass Blades

The following grass blades are suitable options for the FSA 120 when fitted with the complete approved guard, mounting hardware and harness combination. All are sold separately, not included with this AutoCut-equipped listing.

• GrassCut 230-4, 230mm, 25.4mm bore (4001 713 3801).

Use only the complete cutting-tool combination approved in your exact FSA 120 instruction manual, including the correct metal-tool guard, mounting hardware and required harness. Do not assume the standard line-head setup is ready for metal blades. Remove the battery before changing attachments and keep both hands on the handles during use. Brush knives, circular saw blades and shredder blades are not recommended here.

Blade Fitting Hardware

The STIHL blade fitting kit 4001 007 4400 (40010074400) is suitable for FSA 120 and sold separately. It contains a thrust washer, rider plate and M10 x 1.0 left-hand collar nut. Confirm the mounting parts needed for your exact machine and selected blade. This is mounting hardware, not a universal adaptor or complete conversion kit, and does not include a guard or harness.

Choose the FSA 120 bike-handle version for a natural sweeping motion across open areas. The FSA 120 R loop-handle version is an alternative for manoeuvring around obstacles and working in tighter spaces.
