STIHL FS-KM Line Trimmer Attachment (4180 200 0474)

The STIHL FS-KM Line Trimmer Attachment (4180 200 0474) turns a compatible STIHL KombiEngine into a grass trimmer for lawn edges, corners and uneven areas where a mower cannot reach. This is the nylon-line version with an AutoCut 27-2 mowing head, not a complete powered machine.

Use the two-line mowing head to clear grass along walls and fences, beneath hedges and beside paths. The KombiSystem coupling lets you change attachments quickly, so one compatible power unit can handle different garden jobs.

Optional Metal-Blade Setup

The FS-KM range also supports an approved GrassCut 230-2 configuration. See the separately sold STIHL GrassCut 230-2, 230mm, 25.4mm bore blade (4001 713 3805). A metal blade is not included with this nylon-line attachment. Before converting, have the complete combination checked against both the FS-KM and KombiEngine instruction manuals.

Blade Mounting Parts and Safety

The STIHL blade mounting parts kit (4001 007 4400) lists FS-KM applications. It contains mounting parts only, not a complete conversion kit, and does not include a guard, barrier bar or harness. Confirm the exact shaft and cutting-tool setup before ordering.

A metal blade requires the correct approved metal-tool guard, mounting components, handle or barrier-bar arrangement and harness for the selected KombiEngine. Do not assume the supplied nylon-line guard is suitable. Approval of a grass blade does not establish approval for a brush knife, circular saw blade or shredder blade. Stop the power unit before changing attachments and follow both instruction manuals.
