The STIHL FSA 30 AS Battery Grass Trimmer (FA10 011 5700) is a lightweight choice for tidying small lawns and lawn edges around home gardens. Battery and Runtime

Use the recommended STIHL AS 2 battery (EA02 400 6500) and a suitable AS System charger, such as the AL 1. Neither is included. This machine uses AS batteries, not AK or ALLPRO/AP batteries.

Replacement Cutting Head and Blades

The supplied PolyCut 3-2 head uses two moving plastic blades, not a metal brushcutter blade. A replacement PolyCut 3-2 head (4009 710 2104) and replacement PolyCut blades, eight-pack (4008 007 1000) are available separately.

Use only the cutting equipment and guard combination approved in the FSA 30 manual. Do not fit metal grass blades, brush knives, saw blades or a metal-blade fitting kit. Remove the battery before replacing blades, changing cutting equipment, cleaning or servicing. Follow the manual for protective equipment, operating distances and permitted conditions.
