STIHL KMA 80 R AK Battery KombiMotor (FA08 011 6800)
The STIHL KMA 80 R AK Battery KombiMotor (FA08 011 6800) powers approved KombiTools for a range of home garden jobs. This is a cordless battery motor unit, not a petrol machine. Change attachments at the quick-release coupling for grass trimming, hedge maintenance, pruning, edging and clearing.
Skin Only and Included Equipment
The KMA 80 R motor unit and basic harness are supplied. Battery, charger and KombiTool attachments are sold separately. This motor is not a complete brushcutter, hedge trimmer or blower on its own.

The STIHL 1m carbon shaft extension (0000 710 7102) provides an extra 100cm of reach with approved HL-KM 0° or 145° hedge trimmers and the HT-KM 0° pole pruner. It is sold separately and is not a universal extension for other KombiTools. Follow the instructions for the complete combination and permitted working length.

Compatibility and Safety
The FSS-KM and RG-KM attachments are not approved for the KMA 80 R in the current Australian KombiSystem compatibility guide. Do not assume every KombiTool is suitable. MultiSystem MM tools are not interchangeable simply because they appear in the same collection.
Use the complete approved combination of power unit, attachment, cutting tool, guard, mounting parts, handle or barrier bar and harness specified in the instruction manuals. A compatible FS-KM attachment does not establish approval for every metal blade. Remove the battery before changing attachments, maintain safe working distances and wear the protective equipment required for the attachment and task.
AK Battery Option
See the separately sold STIHL AK 30 S battery for a higher-capacity AK option, particularly useful for tasks such as blowing, power sweeping and cultivating. Choose a suitable AK-compatible charger separately. STIHL ALLPRO/AP and AS batteries are not compatible with this AK-system motor unit.
Battery runtime depends on the attachment, speed setting, workload, conditions and battery condition. Do not use AP-system runtime figures for this machine.
