STIHL FS-KM Metal Blade Brushcutter (4180 200 0475)

The STIHL FS-KM Metal Blade Attachment (4180 200 0475) is a KombiTool supplied with a GrassCut 230-2 blade for cutting long, tough grass, weeds, nettles and dense reeds. It connects to a compatible STIHL KombiEngine, which is sold separately.

When grass becomes too tough for routine edge trimming, the two-edge steel blade provides a practical cutting option for garden and property maintenance. The KombiSystem coupling lets you change tools without buying a separate power unit for every job.

This is an attachment, not a complete powered brushcutter. The KombiEngine is sold separately. Batteries and chargers for battery power units are separate unless expressly included in the selected power-unit kit.

Replacement Grass Blade

See the STIHL GrassCut 230-2, 230mm, 25.4mm bore (4001 713 3805) when you need a replacement blade. A GrassCut 230-2 blade is already supplied with this attachment; additional blades are sold separately.

Mounting Parts and Safety

The STIHL blade mounting parts kit (4001 007 4400) lists FS-KM applications. Check which replacement parts your existing assembly requires before ordering. This parts kit is not a complete conversion kit and does not include a guard, barrier bar or harness.

Use only the approved combination of KombiEngine, FS-KM attachment, cutting tool, guard, mounting parts, handle or barrier bar and harness specified in both instruction manuals. A matching bore or an FS-KM application on a parts kit does not approve every blade. Brush knives, circular saw blades and shredder blades must not be substituted without exact approval for the complete combination. Stop the power unit before changing attachments and follow all fitting and operating precautions.
