Effortless starting. STIHL Easy2start saves you energy when starting your power tools. A smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.

Manual Fuel Pump

A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required from a cold start.

Loop Handle With Barrier Bar

Blade Fitting Hardware

STIHL blade fitting kit 4001 007 4400 (40010074400) is available separately with thrust washer, rider plate and collar nut. Check whether these mounting parts are required for your machine and chosen blade before ordering. This hardware kit is not a complete conversion kit and does not include the required guard.

Use only the approved STIHL universal guard for metal grass blades and the complete cutting-tool combination specified in your machine's instruction manual. The standard line-head setup must not be assumed ready for metal blades.
