STIHL FSA 30 AS Battery Trimmer Kit (FA10 011 5713)

The STIHL FSA 30 AS Battery Trimmer Kit (FA10 011 5713) is a lightweight option for tidying grass and lawn edges around small home gardens. Its adjustable shaft, loop handle and rotating head help you reach around trees, under shrubs and along paths. The kit includes an AS 2 battery and AL 1 charger.

What's Included

• STIHL FSA 30 battery grass trimmer.
• PolyCut 3-2 mowing head with two moving plastic blades.
• STIHL AS 2 battery.
• STIHL AL 1 standard charger.

Key Features

• 230mm cutting circle for grass trimming and lawn-edge maintenance.
• Telescopic shaft and loop handle adjust in stages at the push of a button.
• Adjustable head angle helps with awkward trimming positions.
• Rotate the head 90 degrees for vertical lawn-edge trimming.
• Tool-free plastic-blade replacement, with storage for up to six spare blades on the machine.
• Foldable spacer bracket helps maintain clearance around plants and obstacles.
• LED charge indicator shows remaining battery capacity.
• Quiet electric operation suits noise-sensitive gardens. Follow the manual for hearing protection and other protective equipment.

Battery and Runtime

The included AS 2 battery provides up to 19 minutes of light trimming with the supplied PolyCut plastic-blade head. Actual runtime depends on grass density, cutting equipment, technique and battery condition.

For longer sessions, keep a spare STIHL AS 2 battery (EA02 400 6500) charged and ready. Spare batteries are sold separately. Use the compatible AS System battery and charger specified for this machine, not AK or ALLPRO/AP batteries.

Replacement Cutting Head and Blades

The supplied PolyCut 3-2 head uses moving plastic blades, not a metal brushcutter blade. A replacement PolyCut 3-2 head (4009 710 2104) and replacement PolyCut blades, eight-pack (4008 007 1000) are available separately.

Use only the cutting equipment and guard combination approved in the FSA 30 manual. Do not fit metal grass blades, brush knives, saw blades or a metal-blade fitting kit. Remove the battery before replacing blades, changing cutting equipment, cleaning or servicing.
