The BrushCut 250-3, 250mm, 25.4mm bore (4112 713 4100) is an optional cutting tool for the FS 131 R, sold separately for tough grass and scrub. Confirm the complete approved setup before fitting; blade compatibility alone does not confirm your machine has the necessary guard and hardware.
Blade Fitting Hardware and Safety
View the STIHL blade fitting kit 4001 007 4400 (40010074400), sold separately. The kit contains a thrust washer, rider plate and M10 x 1.0 left-hand collar nut. Confirm the exact mounting parts for your machine and chosen blade before ordering. This hardware is not a universal adaptor or complete conversion kit and contains no guard.
Use only the complete cutting-tool combination approved in your exact FS 131 R instruction manual, including the correct metal-tool guard, loop-handle barrier bar, mounting parts and required harness. Keep both hands on the handles. Do not assume the standard line-head setup is ready for a metal blade or apply bike-handle-only cutting-tool approvals to this loop-handle machine. Stop the engine and follow the manual's precautions before changing attachments. Circular saw and shredder blades are not recommended here.
