Concrete Pumping Equipment

Concrete pumping equipment is used to transport fresh concrete from a truck or mixer through a pipeline or hose to the point of placement, enabling concrete to be delivered to locations that are difficult or impossible to access directly by truck — including elevated slabs, basement pours, confined spaces and sites with restricted vehicle access. Types of concrete pumping equipment
Concrete pump units are available as trailer-mounted or truck-mounted systems, with output capacity (m³/hr) and maximum pumping distance determining the appropriate unit for each application. Boom pumps use a hydraulic articulated arm to place concrete at height or over obstacles, while line pumps (ground pumps) push concrete through a fixed or flexible pipeline laid on the ground to the pour location. Pipeline and hose systems connect the pump to the placement point — steel pipeline sections are used for longer, fixed runs while flexible rubber delivery hoses are used at the end hose for final placement. Pump primers are used to lubricate the pipeline before the concrete pour to prevent blockages and ensure smooth flow from the first batch. Key accessories include pipeline clamps, reducers, elbows, end hoses and cleaning equipment. Proper setup, cleaning and maintenance of the pump and pipeline after each pour is essential to prevent concrete hardening in the system.
