STIHL FSA 70 R AK Battery Trimmer (FA07 011 5700)
The STIHL FSA 70 R AK Battery Trimmer (FA07 011 5700) handles home garden mowing, lawn edges and grass around trees and uneven ground. Its 380mm cutting circle and two speed settings let you choose economical trimming or full power for thicker grass.
What's Included
Includes the trimmer and AutoCut C 12-2 nylon-line mowing head. Battery and charger are sold separately. This is a STIHL AK System machine, not an ALLPRO/AP or AS model; those batteries are not interchangeable.

Choose an AK Battery
The recommended STIHL AK 20 battery offers approximately 25–45 minutes with the AutoCut line head. The compatible STIHL AK 30 S battery offers approximately 30–55 minutes with the line head. Battery and a suitable AK charger are sold separately.

- AK 10: 15–30 minutes with AutoCut line head; 30–60 minutes with PolyCut plastic-blade head.
- AK 20: 25–45 minutes with AutoCut line head; 50–90 minutes with PolyCut plastic-blade head.
- Legacy AK 30: 30–55 minutes with AutoCut line head; 60–110 minutes with PolyCut plastic-blade head.
- AK 30 S: 30–55 minutes with AutoCut line head; 60–110 minutes with PolyCut plastic-blade head.
Runtime depends on speed setting, cutting head, grass conditions, technique and battery condition. PolyCut equipment is optional and not included. Manufacturer maximum coverage figures are up to 250m² / 1,200m of lawn edge with AK 10, 600m² / 3,000m with AK 20, and 700m² / 3,600m with AK 30 or AK 30 S. These are guide figures under the specified test conditions, not guaranteed results.
Cutting Heads and Safe Use
Use only the approved Rapid Click mowing heads, cutting material and guard combinations specified for the FSA 70 R. The optional PolyCut 12-2 uses plastic blades; this does not establish approval for metal grass blades, brush knives, saw blades or a metal-blade fitting kit.
Remove the battery before changing heads, refilling line, cleaning or servicing. Use both hands and follow the manual for protective equipment, operating distances and permitted conditions. Quiet operation does not replace required hearing protection.
