STIHL FSA 80 R AK Brushcutter Skin (FA08 011 5720) is a cordless option for mowing grass and trimming edges around domestic gardens. Its adjustable loop handle helps you manoeuvre between trees and shrubs, while the brushless EC motor offers ECO mode for lighter trimming and a higher setting for thicker grass.
Skin Only and Battery
Tool only, with AutoCut 27-2 mowing head. Battery and charger are not included.
Add the STIHL AK 30 S battery (4520 400 6545), sold separately. The original recommended battery is AK 30; AK 30 S is also suitable for this AK-system machine. A compatible AK-system charger is required and sold separately. STIHL ALLPRO/AP batteries are not compatible with the FSA 80 R.
Optional Grass Blades
The following 230mm grass blades are suitable options for the FSA 80 R when fitted with the complete approved guard, mounting hardware and harness combination. All are sold separately and are not included with this AutoCut-equipped listing.

Follow the complete cutting-tool combination approved in your exact FSA 80 R instruction manual, including the correct metal-tool guard, loop-handle barrier bar, mounting hardware and required harness. Confirm your machine's configuration before fitting. Do not assume the nylon-head setup is ready for metal blades. Remove the battery before changing attachments and keep both hands on the handles during use. Brush knives, saw blades and shredder blades are not recommended here.
Blade Fitting Hardware
The STIHL blade fitting kit 4001 007 4400 (40010074400) is listed for FSA 80 R and sold separately. It contains a thrust washer, rider plate and M10 x 1.0 left-hand collar nut. Confirm the mounting parts required for your exact machine and blade before ordering. This is mounting hardware, not a universal adaptor or complete conversion kit, and does not include a guard, barrier bar or harness.
