STIHL FSA 135 Bike Handle Brushcutter (FA01 200 0025)
STIHL FSA 135 Bike Handle Brushcutter (FA01 200 0025) is a battery-powered brushcutter for trimming grass and vegetation around gardens and properties. This is the bike-handle version. Supplied as skin only, it does not include a battery or charger.
Recommended Battery and ALLPRO Option
- STIHL AP 300 S 36V 281Wh battery (4850 400 6575): the recommended legacy AP battery option.
- STIHL ALLPRO AP 300.0 P battery (EA13 400 6523): the newer ALLPRO battery option, listed separately from the legacy AP 300 S.
Both battery options are available separately from Betontools. Battery and charger are not included with this skin-only machine. STIHL ALLPRO and legacy AP are distinct, compatible battery systems; do not confuse their model numbers. The runtime figures for an AP 300 S do not establish runtime for an ALLPRO battery.

Optional Metal Cutting Tools
The following separately sold cutting tools are listed by STIHL for the FSA 135. Choose the tool for the vegetation and use the complete approved fitting combination in your machine's instruction manual.
- GrassCut 230-2, 230mm, 25.4mm bore (4001 713 3805) for grass cutting.
- GrassCut 260-2, 260mm, 25.4mm bore (4001 713 3812) for grass cutting.
- BrushCut 250-3, 250mm, 25.4mm bore (4112 713 4100) for tough grass and scrub.
Metal blades require the STIHL universal guard approved for mowing heads and metal tools, the specified mounting hardware and required harness. Do not assume a line-head setup is ready for metal blades. Remove the battery before changing attachments. Circular saw and shredder blades are not included in these recommendations.
Blade Fitting Hardware
The STIHL blade fitting kit 4001 007 4400 (40010074400) is available separately with a thrust washer, rider plate and collar nut. Check the required parts against your exact machine. It is mounting hardware, not a universal adaptor or complete conversion kit, and does not include a guard.
